£30.00 GBP

DESCRIPTON

Your iPhone camera is an amazing tool and it is capable of capturing more than just holiday snaps and photos of your food. But like all photography, the key is learning your camera’s hidden secrets. During your one-to-one hands-on workshop, I will help you discover how to use your iPhone to capture professional photos. I will take you through the basic functions of your iPhone, tips & tricks for better shooting, and introduce you to some of the best Apps and editing tools out there. You will learn fundamental techniques of image composition, tips on shooting portraits, and more, to elevate your photography from casual snapshot to professional image. People always say: “The best camera is the one you have with you.” And with the iPhone camera getting ever more powerful and portable, it’s truer today than ever! Get the best out of your iPhone photography with this one-day course.

How long does each tutorial last?

I would recommend 2-hours per tutorial. This includes 30 minutes for preparation and planning (this time is dedicated to addressing the photography student's personal needs).

How many tutorials should I book?

Most students find two individual 2-hour sessions to be adequate, giving them enough time to gain enough skills and techniques to take their iPhone photography to the next level.

How do I book?

First, use the drop down menu above to add your hours to the shopping cart, then pay via PayPal (you don't have to be a PayPal user). I will email you to check your availability and to find the best dates and times for your tutorial.

Where do the tutorials take place?

During the lockdown my tutorials will take place over video messenger, such as Skype, WhatsApp, or FaceTime.

Do I need to do anything beforehand?

To allow me to prepare for our tutorial and to give you the best help I can, you should email me with an idea of what you'd like to make the focus of your tutorial, at least the day before your tutorial.

How far in advance should I book?

One week in advance is usually enough to give you a reasonable choice of dates, but  two weeks is better. Tutorials are of course subject to availability.

When do the tutorials take place?

Any day or time, including weekends, all year round.

What if I am having problems with the online booking system?

Please e-mail me at mansonphotography@gmail.com and I'll help. You can also telephone me on 07496947806 and speak to me in person or leave a message.

What equipment do I Need?

Please bring a fully charged iPhone complete with charger, a notepad and pen, some warm clothes for outside photography, and a bite to eat for lunch.

What do former tutorial students say?

It was great to understand what the features were on my camera and how to use them to take better pictures. I just need to practice now. - Joanne Jackson

This was the second of two workshops with Chris. I now feel that I have the knowledge, understanding and perhaps most important , the confidence to use my camera off auto, and now fully manual.- Judy Holmes

Chris is very helpful and engages with his audience. I have learnt much more in this course than others I have attended. - David Brown
